This viewer uses several real ATLAS events from the public open-data release. The numbers come from the data; the drawing is simplified so first-time visitors can compare patterns instead of fighting the interface.

Mixed lepton signatures align within a single four-lepton candidate.

Select an event from the comparative set, then inspect reconstructed objects one by one.

Directions follow the real event. Curvature, jet width, and spacing are stylized only enough to keep topology readable. Missing transverse energy here is about 43.0 GeV.

Why tracks matter

飛跡がなぜ大事か

The tracker records where charged particles passed. Those points tell us direction, curvature, charge sign, and help separate nearby particles before energy is grouped.

トラッカーは、荷電粒子がどこを通ったかを記録します。その点の並びから向き、曲がり方、電荷の符号が分かり、エネルギーをまとめる前に近い粒子を見分けられます。

ジェットがなぜ大事か

Quarks and gluons do not appear as one clean line. They become a spray of particles, so a jet is drawn as a broad energy bundle rather than a single track.

クォークやグルーオンは、一本のきれいな線としては現れません。たくさんの粒子の束になるので、ジェットは単一の飛跡ではなく、広がったエネルギーの束として描きます。

Why MET matters

METがなぜ大事か

If visible momentum does not balance in the transverse plane, MET points to something the detector did not directly measure. It is a clue, not a discovery claim.

横方向の運動量が見えている粒子だけで釣り合わないとき、MET は検出器が直接測れなかった何かへの手がかりになります。発見の断定ではなく、次に調べるべきサインです。

Why layers matter

層で見る意味

Different particles leave different patterns across tracker, calorimeter, and muon layers. The event display is a compact map of those patterns.

粒子の種類によって、トラッカー、カロリーメータ、ミューオン系に残る模様が変わります。Event Display は、その模様を読むためのコンパクトな地図です。

This single 2e + 2μ candidate is not a claim on its own. Its value comes from being compared with other documented events before any broader mass-spectrum argument is made.
